On Thursday, August 8, 2024, Vice President Kamala Harris, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz and the entire UAW IEB visited Local 900 to endorse the Harris/Walz Presidential Campaign. Shawn Fain, UAW President, introduced Gov. Walz who then introduced VP Harris. Each of them talked about the importance of voting with labor friendly candidates in mind. They each reminded the crowd how the current administration walked the picket lines with us in 2023. At the end of her remarks, VP Harris took time to shake hands and take pictures with those were in attendance.
